Acura

In 1986 Honda Motor Company launched its own Luxury line of vehicles under the Acura brand. Acura’s purpose was to primarily compete with the Lexus and Infinite Brands. Acura was considered to be the first luxury brand exported from the Japanese market that traditional focused on economical design. Acura first debuted the Acura Legend and Acura Integra in 1990, shortly after this they produced the NSX, a Japanese car that could compete with Ferrari and Porsche.

Acura has evolved from the “luxury car” model into many different models to attract a younger audience. Their current models include the MDX (luxury SUV), RDX (crossover SUV), RL (mid-size sedan), TL (mid-size sports sedan), TSX (compact sports sedan) and CSX (compact sedan).
