Family owned and team operated, Gene’s Auto Repair is a full automotive service and repair station specializing in foreign and domestic vehicles. Gene's Auto Repair is Diamond Certified, ASE certified, AAA approved and a Gold Shield Station. Gene's Auto Repair holds four licenses with the Bureau of Automot ive Repair: ARD, Smog, Brake and Lamp
License. Our 9,000 square foot facility is located in Vallejo two
blocks from the Mare Island water front.

to Automotive Industry and other local service companies that

What is a Gold Shield Station?
A Gold
Shield Station is a licensed Smog Check station, which meets higher
performance standards. A Gold Shield Station provides a variety
of inspection and repair services to California motorists. In addition
to its regular smog check inspection and repair services, Gold Shield
stations can inspect and certify Directed Vehicles as indicated on the
DMV renewal notice, issue certificates to Gross Polluters, and perform
state subsidized repairs.

Our Technicians
Our
ASE certified technicians are trained and certified in engine repair,
suspension and steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, heating
and air conditioning, engine performance, and automotive advanced
engine performance. All of our technicians are certified smog
technicians licensed to perform emission diagnostics and smog
repairs. Plus they have the combined experience of over 50 years
in general automotive repair.
